Introductory Digital Design

Introductory digital design from gates and Boolean algebra, via finite state machines, ALUs and memory blocks, to final labs implementing a fully functional RISC-V processor capable of executing compiled code. Lab work is based on open-source design tools and open-source FPGA boards. Examination is based on an on-line, written exam and comleted lab exercises.
