Innovation with sensor technology (new course)

This course explores sensor technologies and their practical applications, covering the full development cycle from idea to final product using the TRL framework. Students will learn about market analysis, business planning, and strategies for bringing sensor-based innovations to market. The course also addresses standardization and ISO certification, along with intellectual property protection and patenting. Additional focus areas include innovation in startup environments and the ethical and privacy considerations of deploying sensors, particularly regarding data security and user consent.
