Electronic devices and circuits
This course introduces the fundamental principles of active electronic components and their role in analog and digital circuit design. It provides a comprehensive overview of how these components are integrated to create complete electronic systems. The course explores key concepts including PN junctions, diodes, bipolar junction transistors, field-effect transistors, basic CMOS circuits and layouts. The course also focuses on amplifier models, frequency response, operational amplifier theory, filters, and noise considerations in amplifier circuits. Some other topics include comparators, trigger circuits, and oscillators. The course provides a solid foundation for understanding and designing electronic systems, with a strong emphasis on analog electronics.
